Managers losing good staff
Your numbers are fine. Your best person just resigned, and you never saw it coming.
Two-day intensive · Kota Kinabalu
IQ got you hired. EQ decides whether people follow you. In two days, Sabahan HR veteran Adeline Majulin hands people managers the practical emotional-intelligence toolkit that stops good employees from walking out over friction that never had to happen.
Who this room is for
Your numbers are fine. Your best person just resigned, and you never saw it coming.
Two strong performers who cannot work together are quietly costing you a third of your week.
You are asked to fix culture and retention with tools nobody ever actually trained you on.
You are the smartest in the room and somehow the hardest to work for. Let us close that gap.
The honest problem
A high performer hands in notice and calls it a new opportunity, when the real reason was six months of friction you could have defused in one conversation.
You react in the heat of the moment, send the message you regret, then spend the next week repairing a relationship that did not need to break.
You can read a spreadsheet in seconds but cannot read the room, so tension builds silently until it costs you a resignation, a client, or a whole team.
The two-day map
A practical method to catch the heat-of-the-moment response and choose a better one, every single time.
Spot the signals of a disengaging employee weeks before the resignation letter, while you can still act on it.
The structure for stay-interviews and honest check-ins that surface friction before it becomes an exit.
Mediate two clashing performers so you get your week back and they get their working relationship back.
Deliver the hard truth so it lands as care, not attack, and actually changes the behaviour.
A 30-day retention rhythm of check-ins and recognition that keeps your best people rooted.
Your trainer
Adeline Majulin has spent fifteen years in human resources across Sabah and Peninsular Malaysia, running hiring, exit interviews, and the hard conversations most managers never see. She has sat with hundreds of employees on their way out and heard the real reasons behind the polite ones. She now trains people managers at over 40 Malaysian companies to catch those reasons early, and keep the people worth keeping.
"Nobody resigns in the exit interview. They resigned months earlier, in a moment you can be trained to see. That moment is the whole job, and it is learnable."

What managers say
"I caught a resignation before it happened. I had the conversation Adeline taught us, and my best analyst is still on my team today."
"I stopped reacting and started responding. My team noticed the difference in me before I did."
"As an HR lead I have sat through a lot of soft-skills training. This was the first that gave me tools I use every single week."
